Ikumi Hasegawa is a Japanese voice actress affiliated with Raccoon Dog.
Hasegawa developed an interest in voice acting during her first year of middle school after reading the manga The Prince of Tennis. She later became particularly fond of the series Gintama and has said that she was once a yumejoshi for Sougo Okita.
She disliked studying, and in her third year of high school she decided to pursue a career as a voice actress. Her strong determination led her teacher to describe her as stubborn. While attending a two-year vocational school, Hasegawa also enrolled in Pro-Fit's voice acting training school, where she became a trainee. In 2016, she made her voice acting debut with a minor role in the anime Orange.
She seriously considered quitting voice acting after struggling to secure roles despite attending numerous auditions. However, she changed her mind after being informed that she had been cast as Arcueid Brunestud in Tsukihime -A piece of blue glass moon-. On her own radio program, she stated that the project was the reason she decided to continue her career as a voice actress.
She became fully affiliated with Pro-Fit in April 2021. After the agency closed, Hasegawa transferred to Raccoon Dog on April 1, 2022.
In a 2017 interview, she cited Miyu Irino and Miyuki Sawashiro as voice actors she admires.
In March 2024, she received the Singing Award at the 18th Annual Seiyu Awards as a member of Kessoku Band from Bocchi the Rock!, in recognition of the band's achievements, where she served as the band's lead singer alongside fellow members Yoshino Aoyama, Sayumi Suzushiro, and Saku Mizuno.
