In Fire Emblem Engage, Marth is one of the twelve Emblems of Elyos. Marth's Ring of the Hero-King was placed on Alear's hand while they slept for 1000 years. After Alear's awakening, they are attacked by malevolent forces on their way to Lythos Castle. Desiring to protect Clanne and Framme, Alear invokes the power of the Ring, summoning Marth and engaging with them, allowing them to dispatch the Corrupted.
