Asuka is the top designer of Ichigo's favorite brand, Angely Sugar. She likes having Ichigo help her in many things pertaining to Angely Sugar. She originally created Angely Bear (Angely Sugar's mascot) for her children.

She is also the grandmother of Madoka Amahane.
