Hajime is a fan of Battle Spirits when his parents created a battle game for him. He is an adventurous, kind, and stronger thirteen-year old boy who wants to win the card game, when he entered the battle, he transforms into his battle armor.

He is also hot-headed, impulsive, rebellious, and caring, and likes Kouta as a little brother.
