Rangiku's father. A Sengoku warlord who preferred elegance to war, taking advantage of the fact that his territory was surrounded by natural fortifications. Even in a mountainous region, he actively collected foreign watches and technical books, and after showing a deep interest in Karakuri dolls, he became obsessed with his research, going so far as to commit the heinous act of ripping the rawhide from his beloved daughter's back and using it as material to create his greatest masterpiece, the "Living Doll".
