Anglin Bathrad, also known as The Great Sage Angrin, or The Hero of Darkness (Dark Hero), was one of the heroes summoned by the Goddess Vysis in order to fight against a previous incarnation of The Root of All Evil. He's famed as a great hero and magic researcher who was successful in defeat the Great Demon Emperor of centuries ago and returned to his native world. However actually he was sent to die to the Disposal Ruins by Vysis and fell fighting the Soul Eater in his already "debuffed" state.
