Chara (also known as Connex) is the connection between the Great Children and the Needle Tower. Chara doesn't have much participation in the anime and his name isn't even mentioned in the adaptation, but in the manga he gains more prominence as he is also an enemy, and can take on a form similar to a demon. He is defeated by Baku and Hyou.
