Chronica is the apparent senior of two independent Plants sent from Earth in response to the Gunsmoke homing beacon. She and Domina arrive after Knives has been sailing the Arc for some time. Apparently, they've seen rogue Independents before, but nothing on Knives' scale.

Chronica is tall, with long blonde hair. She wears a light-colored space outfit. Chronica is shown to be calm and rather intelligent. She refuses to forgive Knives for absorbing Domina into his mass collective and destroying her individual character.

She is one of several forces active during the final battle in the manga.
