A newspaper reporter and literary column manager at Newcord Times, where Jo brought a novel. He introduced an acquaintance's rented house to Jo and the others who has moved to Newcord. He has a blunt personality. Anthony is busy walking around the city with interviews and other activities, so he doesn't appear often, and there are times when he happens to meet Jo in various places. At first, Anthony was disliked by Jo because she disparaged the novel, but after gradually getting along, he came to like her. After that, he started dreaming of working for a newspaper company in New York.
