Hikari has been practicing judo from a young age. When she was in high school, she lost 90% of her vision due to juvenile glaucoma. She spent her days in frustration, but at the recommendation of her family, she meets a blind judo player. She then learned the techniques and spirit of judo for the visually impaired from Kobayashi Sensei, and set her sights on participating in the Paralympic Games. Her specialty is the shoulder throw.
