Kotono Shiunji is the youngest sibling of the Shiunji family and the only one that's still in middle school. She is a third-year middle school student, who is the type of innocent girl that has a peaceful and shy personality.

Kotono Shiunji is a petite girl with a gentle and shy presence. She has medium-length black hair, with long bangs that cover her right eye, and wears a yellow scrunchie on the left side. Her eyes are a soft golden-amber color, often giving her a timid look.

She wears her school uniform with a light yellow pleated skirt, a lavender cardigan over her top, and a blue sailor collar tied with a yellow neckerchief. She completes the look with navy knee-high socks and brown loafers. Her posture and expression usually reflect her reserved and quiet nature.

Kotono tends to be very shy and meek, rarely looking up from the ground. Because of this, she's one of the most popular girls in the Shiunji Sister fan club. However, there's one thing that can make her act more brashly than most would expect - her romantic feelings for her older brother Arata Shiunji. She has been told multiple times that she must simply be confusing platonic affection for her brother with romantic love, but she refuses to think otherwise. The same night that she learned that they were not related by blood, she looked up the laws regarding marriage between adopted siblings and then proceeded to ambush Arata with a second confession in the bathroom, despite already being rejected once before, only to be rejected yet again.
