The music teacher at Lacombrade Academy. He was a former student there and it was where he first met François Watts and Aslan Battour. He has a mature and serious personality, which sometimes led to him having contrasting opinions from his two friends in their youth, but he is nevertheless a caring friend. He also introduced Serge to Professor Rouch after he arrived at the academy. He has a family that lives in Paris.
