Homare Byoubugaura is an Oni and a student at Rasetsu Academy.

Homare is a short girl with pink shoulder-length hair and bangs. She has pink eyes and wears the standard Rasetsu Academy uniform. Whenever her horns are visible, they twist upwards like a ram's. Because of her nervous nature, she is often seen fidgeting with her hands or hunched over.

Homare is friendly and trusting, but incredibly shy and panicky. Due to her history of negligence and abuse at the hands of her parents, she sees herself as incapable and a burden to others, struggling to socialise with people as a result. She is self-loathing and prone to depression, and suffers with crippling guilt after the murders of her sister, Sumire, and her father.
