Akane has blonde hair cropped above her shoulders with bangs hanging on the left side and blue eyes.

Her natural hair color is black but after she left home she dyed her hair blonde and changed her style of clothing. She typically wears casual clothing outside of work wearing track jackets, hoodies and t-shirts at home.

Akane initially comes off cold and aloof but cares deeply for her friends. She is considered the most mature of the girls and typically does not get involved in the silly antics, she is more content to sit back and observe or if she engages she does so by lightly teasing the others especially Hayato.

She is normally pretty reserved having a calm demeanor where she does not show her emotions openly on her face, but when complimented by him she blushes easily, which she tries to hide. She's also perceptive being skilled at observing others.

When it comes to music her typically reserved nature is cast aside and as the guitarist and lead vocalist for her band sings with such a passion that it even made Hayato a fan. She's also a talented song-writer who likes to write in the quiet privacy of the Café after-hours.

It is mentioned by the other girls that they have felt that Akane has changed from when they first met as before she used to be more stand-offish and now she is more sociable.
