Kikoru Shinomiya is one of the main protagonists in the Kaiju No. 8 manga and anime series. She is the daughter of Defense Force Director General Isao Shinomiya and the late Hikari Shinomiya, a former Second Division Captain.

As a prodigy, she graduated from college at 16 and was recruited into the Japan Anti-Kaiju Defense Force. She possesses a petite yet athletic build. She has long blonde hair, often tied in twintails with black bows, and large green eyes.

Kikoru is known for being arrogant, proud, and very confident. She often looks down on people she thinks are less capable. However, she is also determined, persistent, and loyal to her teammates. She always pushes herself to get stronger and protect others. As an elite fighter, she is skilled with advanced combat suits and Numbers Weapons, making her a strong presence on the battlefield.
