Haru is a slim high school girl with short, curly dark green hair (which gets frizzy in the rain) where she often uses two clips to hold her bangs to the side and she possibly possesses dark green eyes.

Usually, she can be seen wearing her school uniform in neat attire with the 1st year bow tie and school blazer. She casually ties back her hair in a low ponytail when practicing hard.

Haru is a rather quiet and timid character who doesn't really stand out. She is generally a polite and tactful girl but possess a lack of self-confidence and gets nervous real easily. She dislikes her cowardly personality and wishes to change but finds it hard to do so-. She is an introvert and has trouble interacting and making friends with the other girls in her classroom. Nevertheless, she appears to be a sensitive, sweet young lady who loves music and playing the violin.

Back in middle school, Haru was getting bullied, slowly but surely, by some girls in her classroom. Due to this, she made the decision to leave and transfer schools-resulting in separation from her best friend Akine Ritsuko. However, both girls joined the same high school and both joined the Umimaku Orchestra Club. Haru still finds it scary and hard for her to socialise with her other classmates but seems to be getting along well with the other 1st years in the violinist section.
