Ron works for the same security firm as Oldbag (and, for a time, Larry).
Ron lives on the third floor of the Palazzo Pelpepe building.
Friends and Family: Ron is married to Desirée DeLite.
Name Origin:
English: DeLite (from "delight") may refer to his "sweet" Japanese name. The name "Ron" is also originally a Hebrew name which means "Joy" which fits with his surname somewhat. (-IPT)
Japanese: "Amasugi" comes from amasugiru meaning "too sweet." Yuusaku may come from the name of a famous actor, Yuusaku Matsuda (though it doesn't look anything like him!).
French: Comes from plaisir meaning "pleasure."
Background: Ron works as a security guard for KB Security. He met his wife Desirée when he bravely defended her from muggers. Desirée was impressed by his heroism and the two quickly fell in love and were soon married.
However, a few months before GS3, Ron lost his job as a security guard, when his boss discovered he had been selling off information he learned in his job to other companies. He kept the firing secret from Desirée. In order to keep paying for her expensive hobbies he decided to become a Phantom Thief. But on his first heist he was nearly caught, and had to change into an old guard uniform left in an alley in order to sneak away from the police. He left his thief outfit behind, which was later found by Detective Atmey. After that, Ron began receiving letters from a blackmailer who had discovered his identity. He was instructed to steal specific items and place them in a predetermined safe, and was paid handsomely in return. From then on Ron acted as Phantom Thief according to the mystery person, and was even given clues about the best routes to enter secured buildings and avoid guards. One day he received a letter threatening to expose his identity, which led him to KB Security on the night of T&T case 2.
