The main character of the story. Being lured in by his elder sister to a "date" outing, he finds himself in troubles and constant precariously sexy situations after given a job as the dorm super-intendent of Hokuei University girls' volleyball team.

As his height is shorter than average girls around, he's often teased as "Short-a" as derived from the english word 'short' and his name 'souta' and became a trigger for his rage for being known as short.
He has a set of good cooking skill due to working part time in a restraurant and has a crush on one of the volleyball team member.
