Conscon is the commander of a Principality of Zeon mobile task force, consisting of a Chivvay-class heavy cruiser and some Musai-class light cruisers, under the command of Dozle Zabi. Under Dozle's orders, he is dispatched to Side 6 to ambush the White Base so as to humiliate Char and Dozle's sister Kycilia. The arrogant Conscon belittles Char, but is quickly humbled when White Base destroys 12 Rick Doms during a battle just outside of Side 6. When White Base later leaves Side 6 for good, Conscon launches another attack. When his mobile suits are quickly defeated, he tries to ram his Chivvay into White Base in a kamikaze attack, but Amuro manages to destroy it with Gundam's beam sabers, killing him.
